Get Involved

ParkinsonLife is built entirely by volunteers — clinicians, researchers, caregivers, technologists, and people living with Parkinson's — who believe that better information leads to better outcomes. There is a role here for you.

How You Can Help

Four Ways to Make an Impact

Volunteer Your Time

Join the Team

We have active needs across content review, research curation, technical development, community outreach, and organizational governance. Whether you can give two hours a week or much more, there is meaningful work to be done. All roles are volunteer and all contributions are recognized.

Share Your Expertise

Contribute Content

Are you a neurologist, dietitian, speech-language pathologist, or researcher? Your clinical knowledge is exactly what this platform is built on. Submit a research summary, patient education piece, video lecture, or resource link. All submissions are reviewed by a peer before publication.

Connect Your Community

List a Resource

Do you run a support group, manage a Parkinson's organization, or know of a center of excellence that is not yet listed? Submit it for review. We verify and list resources that meet our quality standards, helping thousands of patients find the support they need.

Real Work on a Project
That Genuinely Matters

The founder of ParkinsonLife is committed to mentoring the next generation of technologists and business leaders — particularly college and university students who want to build meaningful things in healthcare. This is not a nominal internship. Contributors work on real infrastructure, real applications, and real problems affecting real patients.

Reach Out

Your Lived Experience
Is a Form of Expertise

Caregivers understand what Parkinson's looks like from the inside in ways that no clinical study can fully capture. We actively seek caregiver voices on our advisory team, in our content review process, and as community liaisons. If you have been navigating Parkinson's care for a loved one, you have something invaluable to contribute.

Board & Volunteer
Positions

ParkinsonLife is governed by a founding volunteer board currently being assembled. Board members guide organizational strategy, ensure scientific integrity, and represent the communities we serve. If you bring governance experience, clinical expertise, or deep familiarity with the Parkinson's landscape — we want to speak with you.

Beyond the board, we have ongoing volunteer needs across every area of the organization. Time commitment varies by role — from a few hours monthly to more sustained engagement. All contributions matter.

We are a new organization. That means ambiguity and rough edges alongside genuine opportunity to shape something lasting. If that appeals to you, read on.
